What is CoolSculpting® Elite?

CoolSculpting® Elite is an FDA-cleared fat reduction treatment that contours the body by freezing away fat cells under the skin.

Once the fat cells are frozen, your body naturally processes them and eliminates them, leaving you with a more sculpted body. It is a non-surgical procedure.*

What to expect

You may start seeing changes as soon as 3 weeks after treatment, and you'll see the most dramatic results after about two months. Your body continues to flush out the treated fat cells for up to 4 to 6 months. CoolSculpting Elite is a gradual process, and peak results are seen after three months.

Some patients may have temporary redness, minor bruising, tingling, numbness, or discomfort in the treated area. These side effects typically resolve completely with time, and many patients return to work right after their session.

Who is a candidate for CoolSculpting® Elite?

It works for both men and women who want to target the abdomen, flanks (love handles), arms, bra line, and inner and outer thighs, and who are within about 20 pounds of their goal weight. Anyone with an implantable device, such as a pacemaker, is not a candidate.

Is CoolSculpting® Elite a weight-loss treatment?

No. It is not a treatment for obesity and is not a weight-loss treatment.

Is there downtime?

CoolSculpting Elite is completely non-surgical, and patients can return to normal activities immediately. Some patients have temporary redness, minor bruising, tingling, numbness, or discomfort in the treated area. These side effects typically resolve completely with time.
